maeva himmler
Born in the east of France in a car industry city, she graduated in 2021 and wrote her master thesis Manuel of the Opponent, a compilation of texts, poems and found images introduced by Poignax, a fictional hybrid kind of Pigeon. This has led her to expand her sculptural practice with writing, research and curation practices. She's producing, performing live and mixing under the name Andrea Puszi and is also part of a noise music duo with Solene Collin.

Collect, decompose, and recompose. Her practice is about amassing a bunch of Objects, debris from a roaring machine and memories of a ravaged everyday life. Usurper, she increases these objects to place them in a new dimension. Fragments of narrative will attempt to escape, using cynicism as digestive. Never anchored, never definitive, these objects gravitate in a nebulous sky. Trying in vain to find their place and awkwardly relearn how to walk on a thread that is far too loose. She's interested in fringe entities, parasites and images that placard, decorate or ruin everyday life. Many questions, question marks. Wobbly proposals that only exist because they are unstable and uneasy in the space that has been reallocated to them.
